Lauren Anderson

Faux Weirdo

September 10, 2010 - October 22, 2010

In the tradition of found art and appropriation, Lauren Anderson expands the boundaries of authorship with her minimal reproductions of unconscious art. Using familiar forms she negotiates the gap between pavement and placement. She memorializes abandoned sculptures, celebrates the remnants of explosives and makes a spirit rock for the living room. Anderson doesn't refer, she reveres.
