NY Art Book Fair at MOMA PS1

November 5, 2010 - November 7, 2010

Printed Matter presents the fifth annual NY Art Book Fair, November 5–7 at MoMA PS1, Long Island City, Queens. Free and open to the public, the Fair hosts over 200 international presses, booksellers, antiquarian dealers, artists and publishers from twenty countries, offering the best in contemporary art-book publishing.

Golden Age will be releasing Cries and Whispers from the Salt Song Trail: A Reinterpretive Journey by Derek Chan. Cries and Whispers explores the poetic nature of the Four Corners region in the Southwest. The ink drawings collected in this book are a response and interpretation to myth, politics and the landscape surrounding the Hopi Mesas, Navajo Territory, Black Mesa and Canyon De Chelly.

On Saturday, Nov 6th at noon in The Classroom join us for A Cultural Reader, a series of micro-lectures from Maxwell G. Graham, Javelin, Hanne Mugaas, William Pym, Tim Ridlen, and Bailey Salisbury. In conjunction with the event, we will be publishing a fanzine containing images, footnotes and anything else that didn't make it into those seven minutes.
